About

From my first practice, I was immediately drawn to the mind-body connection of yoga. I found a deep sense of calm and focus on my mat, and I felt grounded in the present moment as I connected to my body and my breath.

Work opportunities led my husband and I on an amazing journey through the U.S., China, and across Canada. Our most recent adventure brings us to the emerald pastures and rugged coastline of West Cork, Ireland.  In each new community I found connection in the smiling faces I met on the mat. In the vibrant city of Shanghai, I studied Hatha and Iyengar yoga and began my journey as a teacher. Always a student first, I believe in lifelong learning and I am inspired by the students and teachers I have met around the world.  My additional studies include Restorative and Yin yoga, yoga for cancer, therapeutic applications of yoga, as well as extensive study in mindfulness and meditation.

I am passionate about sharing the healing power of yoga and meditation. I encourage my students to practice with the curiosity of a beginner’s mind, to explore their inner landscape as they align the external body, to move mindfully with a deep connection to the breath, and to find their own true expression of each pose and each moment.

Please join me on the mat for a class! Check out my current class offerings, and enjoy this free Flow & Restore practice anytime.
